Public Services Commission propose caveat to improving terms and conditions of employment

It'll only set up the group if unions accept the three-year pay deal

The Public Services Commission is proposing to establish a joint 'working party' to address 'broader issues' with public service terms and conditions of employment.

However, this will only happen if unions accept the revised three-year deal proposed last week.

Issues identified to be part of the remit of the 'working party' would include the living wage, flexible working and harmonising annual leave for new starters.

Trade union Prospect thinks the latest offer is unlikely to be supported by its members.
