Poverty committee seeks feedback from those on low wage
The public is being asked to share their experiences of the Island's benefits and social security system.
A Tynwald committee on poverty wants feedback on the welfare-based financial support provided by government.
This includes in-work benefits, unemployment benefits, health related benefits, family benefits, pensions and emergency Covid support.
The committee has launched an online survey, which will run until midnight on Friday, 21 January.
It's open to anyone, and can be completed anonymously.
Chair Juan Watterson, the Speaker of the House of Keys, says members want to hear how those on low pay manage budgets, and how the system can be improved.
