Prorogation ruling will be 'very influential' in Manx courts, says law professor

Island's judiciary could challenge prerogative power of Governor

The UK Supreme Court's decision to judge Boris Johnson's shutdown of parliament as unlawful will be 'very influential' in Manx courts.

Mr Edge also believes the judgement could pave the way towards a written constitution in the UK, which would see the Crown Dependencies' status enshrined in law.
