Extra provision in Douglas for the festive period
Additional parking provision along the Douglas promenade walkway returns tomorrow, ahead of the festive shopping period.
Each Thursday, starting this week, shops will be staying open later.
Parking will be free, but limited to two hours, and with no return within four hours.
There are designated disabled bays with up to four hours free parking.
The entrance to the walkway parking area will be from the end of the sunken gardens near the Gaiety Theatre and the exit is by the No1. shelter towards the Sea Terminal.
Parking will be available until Tuesday, 9 January.
The Christmas lights in the capital will be switched on this Thursday evening at 7pm (23 November).
