Policy direction discussed at Green Party AGM

Members to have clearly stated position

The chairman of the Isle of Man Green Party says it's time the organisation pushed ahead with developing policies and winning over the Manx public.

Around 30 people gathered at the Columba Club in Douglas last night (1 October) for the organisation's annual general meeting.

Members discussed how policies on issues such as energy, health and transport should be developed and promoted over the next few years.

The group aims to have a full formed policy document ahead of the next general election in 2021.

Chairman Andrew Bentley says unlike members of the House of Keys, his party will have a clearly stated position.
