Police urge responsibility from dog owners

Constabulary reports case of sheep worrying

The Isle of Man Constabulary is reminding dog owners to be responsible following a report of sheep worrying yesterday.

There have been a number of incidents involving animals being mutilated or killed by dogs in recent years which have made the headlines.

Those convicted of sheep worrying face a maximum fine of £2,500.

Offenders have also been ordered to pay thousands of pounds in compensation to the affected parties.
