Christian Road in Douglas was closed for a short time yesterday (Thursday) lunchtime, but it had nothing to do with the icy conditions in the area.
It was so police could safely arrest a 36-year-old man.
It followed an incident in the town on Wednesday, in which a 30-year-old woman was allegedly assaulted.
