Education minister says government should be able to monitor how its money is spent
The education minister says she wants to make sure government is overseeing how its money is being spent by the regional pools going forward.
It's after plans for Julie Edge's department to stop funding the Southern Pool were scrapped.
The recommendation was based on a report looking at the funding options for the Island's pools, although there has been some debate about the exact figures used in it.
Ms Edge says government needs to be sure the money it's providing is spent appropriately:
