Manx Breast Cancer Support Group has thanked everyone for their support
A Manx charity which funded a patient quiet room at Liverpool John Lennon Airport says it's been reassured that the facility will not be closing.
It's a dedicated space for people travelling from the Isle of Man to the UK for medical treatment.
Manx Breast Cancer Support Group says it's now been told building work at the site means it will be moved temporarily before being replaced with an improved area.
It adds the airport has stressed it's 'totally committed' to continuing to provide the room to those who need it.
The Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall also says he's seen reassurances about the future of the facility.
