Passenger numbers at airport up by 7% over TT

More than 60,000 people travel through Ronaldsway

Passenger numbers at the Isle of Man Airport were up by seven percent over the TT period.

Between 22 May and 12 June more than 60,000 people travelled through Ronaldsway.

There were 30,027 people arriving and 30,136 departing on scheduled flights, through general aviation and private jets.

The busiest day was 3 June.

Airport Director Gary Cobb said: "We are incredibly pleased with the strong passenger numbers during this year’s TT period.

"This success is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire airport team and excellent cooperation with the airlines.

"I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone involved for their unwavering commitment to providing exceptional service during this busy period."

In 2023 there were 56,039 people who travelled by air during the TT period – 28,055 arrivals and 27,984 departures.

The 2024 figures are a 46 percent increase on those from two years ago but are still 18 percent below those from 2019.
