Parents urged to contribute to GCSE consultation

A consultation on the future of 14-16 education in the Isle of Man will commence at the start of April, seeking views from as many different sources as possible.

It has been sparked by the decision in England to do away with GCSEs.

Andrew Shipley is Isle of Man branch secretary of the Association of Teachers and Lecturers.

He says the union will be making its own contribution, but is urging parents to get involved, too:
