Awards highlight how Island is becoming more sustainable
Individuals and organisations across the Island are making a positive contribution to our biosphere.
That's according to Chief Minister Howard Quayle MHK, speaking at the second UNESCO Biosphere Awards earlier this week.
There were 45 entries from companies, who are working to improve the Island's sustainable development, conservation and education.
Winner of the Education and Public Awareness Award, Sandy Huyton from the Manx Hedgehog Conservation Society, hopes the award will make people aware about the importance of sustaining wildlife:
