A candidate in the upcoming Onchan by-election says the village is 'full of potential' for progress and will listen to residents to ensure their concerns are addressed.
Dr Scott Wilson would like to see The Hub and the library used more to benefit children as well working closer with local business to start a work experience scheme.
The other candidates standing in the by-election are Nigel Dobson and Oliver Lockwood and residents can vote at The Hub on School Road from 8am until 8pm, on Thursday 14 November.
Dr Wilson says he would be a 'committed, proactive and accessible' representative if elected to Onchan Commissioners.
