Nursing students appeal for recruits

DHSC starts process to find prospective students

Student nurses are encouraging people from all walks of Island life to consider signing up for a remedy to staff shortages.

The Department of Health and Social Care is now searching out more than 100 applicants to Adult and Mental Health University of Chester courses.

Out of those, 20 will be picked for a September start.

Both courses are based on Island; taught by lecturers in both fields who take an industry-realistic approach by placing students in our hospitals.

Minister Kate Beecroft says Noble's and Ramsey Cottage hospitals need the manpower.

These students are sure they've made the right decision.
