Dr Matt Tyrer came here from Cheshire
The new director of Public Health says he's really looking forward to bringing his skills to the Isle of Man.
Matt Tyrer took up the position here in the first week of October.
His focus will be on long term population health for the Island.
Dr Tyrer says he's learnt a lot from his career to date:
