Nasal spray flu vaccine for school children

Alternative to needles offered at primary schools and GPs

A flu vaccination is being offered to school children from reception to year 6 as part of a new health programme.

For most kids, it's given as a nasal spray, removing the need for needles.

The vaccine will be administered to students in primary schools, and at GP surgeries for two, three, and four-year-olds.
