NAHT hopes new minister can end pay dispute deadlock

Unions due to hold talks with MIRS tomorrow

A senior representative from one of the unions involved in the pay dispute with education bosses hopes a change of minister will end the deadlock.

Ramsey MHK Dr Alex Allinson is replacing Graham Cregeen at the head of the Department of Education, Sport and Culture, with Mr Cregeen taking over at Home Affairs.

The change comes just a day before the three unions currently taking industrial action will meet with the Manx Industrial Relations Service.
