Motorsport charity replacing essential kit

Rob Vine Fund needs £40,000

A charity which supports more than 130 motorsport events on the Isle of Man needs to raise thousands of pounds to replace vital equipment.

The Rob Vine Fund aims to provide the best possible pre-hospital care - as well as apparatus and training for doctors and paramedics involved in racing events.

It's most often associated with the TT having been established in memory of a rider who died in an incident during the Senior Race in 1985.

Charity director Ros Gale says they provide huge amount of potentially lifesaving kit around the Moutain Course:

A Birmingham based blues artist is playing on the Isle of Man on Saturday in support of the charity.

Rebecca Downes will take to the stage at the Legion in Douglas starting at 7pm.
