Cregeen welcomes delegates from across British Isles
This afternoon saw the fifth ministerial meeting of the Indigenous, Minority and Lesser-used Languages work sector of the British-Irish Council.
Hosted by the Isle of Man Government, Education Sport and Culture Minister Graham Cregeen welcomed delegates from Wales, Ireland, Scotland, Jersey and Guernsey.
The meeting was chaired by Eluned Morgan AM, Minister for International Relations and Welsh Language in the Welsh Government.
The Irish Government was represented by Seán Kyne TD, Government Chief Whip and Minister of State with responsibility for the Irish Language, the Gaeltacht and the Islands.
