
Inquiry fees among a series of changes coming in from 2020
The minister responsible for planning on the Isle of Man hopes the introduction of inquiry fees will encourage those objecting to an application to engage at an earlier stage of the process.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture is bringing in a series of changes to the planning system in the New Year, including a charge for those asking for an inquiry.
The move comes after increased restrictions to interested party status were brought in last year.
