Poverty discussed at final Tynwald sitting of year
Tynwald has voted against the idea of a targeted national insurance rebate for people who recieve low incomes.
In the debate on a motion from deputy speaker Chris Robertshaw, Dr Alex Allinson spoke of the hardships faced by the low paid, saying it's important to understand what poverty is and how to deal with it.
