Edge ponders if stats include Island's two hospitals
An Onchan MHK has questioned the accuracy of statistics which indicate a 15 percent increase in the number of people being seen at Noble’s Hospital over the last decade.
Figures released by the Department of Health and Social Care show almost 265,000 people attended four areas – Accident and Emergency, radiology, outpatients and operations.
Forty-eight thousand were seen in A+E last year; that’s up from 35,000 in 2014.
