
Plans for apartments and hotel on Golf Links site rejected by DEFA
An MHK has called for government to do something about the ‘wreck’ of a former hotel which has been left to fall into disrepair in his constituency.
Plans for the redevelopment of Castletown Golf Links have been rejected at appeal – the decision of the planning appeals inspector has been upheld by the Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister.
Fort Island Developments Limited had wanted to build a new hotel and 40 residential apartments – the company’s original application had been rejected in December 2021.
