Twelve-strong Island team heading to New Zealand this month
This month will see a historic occasion for the sport of powerlifting on the Isle of Man.
Manx Powerlifting is set to take part in the Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships in Auckland, New Zealand from 28 November to 4 December.
It'll be the first time the Island has ever put forward an international team in the sport after being formed only a year ago.
Two of the Island's team members, Lisa Grant and Jo Corr, are very much looking forward to the experience:
RPU will be 'out in force' to stop drink and drug drivers
