Member described health cuts as 'holding a gun to the head of government'
The chief executive of Manx Care says she's disappointed to hear an MHK describe its recently-announced cuts as 'holding a gun to the head of government'.
Douglas South member Claire Christian made the remarks after a number of changes to health services were announced last week.
Figures recently published by the board show it's projecting a £16.8m overspend, with reductions to elective surgery, Ramsey's Minor Injuries Unit and patient transfer among those brought in to tackle the issue.
