MannBenham staff put in great elf-fort for Alzheimer's Society

Firm raise over £100 for the charity

The team at MannBenham Advocates have raised £128 for the Alzheimer's Society by taking part in an 'Elf Day'.

The initiative is part of the charity's ongoing efforts to raise awareness, fund research, and provide support for those impacted by these conditions.

MannBenham hosted a bake sale dressed as Elves, with staff baking delicious goods from reindeer cakes, Kinder Bueno cookies, brownies, gingerbread reindeer and lots more.

Senior Private Client Lawyer Patrick Swanney visited Manx Radio yesterday (Tuesday, 5 December) to tell Christy DeHaven more on her show:

Mr Swanney is also a Dementia Friends Ambassador, where he works to raise awareness and change attitudes about dementia through delivering Dementia Friends Sessions.

He is responsible for helping more people living with dementia, by raising the Alzheimer’s Society’s profile in local communities as a vital source of information and support for anyone affected by dementia - he hosted a session on the topic for MannBenham staff earlier today (Wednesday, 6 December).

He told Manx Radio his work as a dementia ambassador has aided in his legal work:
