Man sent to higher court over drugs allegations

Accused of dealing cocaine and possessing criminal property

A man accused of dealing cocaine has been committed to the Court of General Gaol Delivery.

Twenty-year-old Frederick James Buxton of Grove Mount in Ramsey appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas courthouse.

He denies being unlawfully involved in the supply of cocaine and possessing £3,200 in criminal property.

Mr Buxton was committed to stand trial at the higher court, where he’ll next appear on a date to be fixed.

Reporting restrictions were not lifted.
