40-year-old stopped by officers on drive home
An Onchan man's who had his car seized by police has been fined for having no tax.
Forty-year-old Robin Griffiths of Nursery Avenue admitted the offence though a coroner's admission before magistrates at Douglas courthouse.
Officers stopped him on 14 February after seeing him drive the car home along Stoney Road - the vehicle hadn't been taxed since December 2018.
In mitigation, Griffiths told the court he'd sold the Daihatsu and had been waiting for its new owner to pick it up.
He was fined £360 and ordered to pay £50 in prosecution costs.
