Thirty-year-old remanded in custody

A Douglas man facing four charges of carrying knives will appear in court again next month.

Thirty-year-old Daniel Sydney Andrews, whose address was given as care of the Isle of Man prison, appeared before magistrates at Douglas courthouse.

As well as carrying prohibited articles, he's also accused of two thefts, two incidents of criminal damage, using threatening behaviour, carrying a loaded air weapon, and resisting police officers in the execution of their duties between 7 October and 31 December.

Magistrates remanded him in custody until his next appearance on 2 April.
