Organisers seeking 300 participants for 300th event
A community event on the Isle of Man which aims to boost the physical health and social lives of residents will celebrate a major milestone this weekend.
Nobles Parkrun is holding its 300th meeting tomorrow (28 September) and is hoping to encourage an unprecedented 300 people to get involved.
More than 4,000 registered runners have signed up since the event first began just under seven years ago.
One of the event organisers Ali Kirby says it's not an 'elitist' environment and people of all abilities are welcome to try it out:
This Saturday's 300th event will get underway at Noble's Park in Douglas, at the usual time of 9am, and is free.
Anyone interested in getting involved must first register HERE. www.parkrun.org.uk/nobles.
Those who do sign on are reminded to make sure they print out and bring their barcode with them on the day.
