Mother says her son bounced back from Guillan-Barre Syndrome

The mother of a Liverpool man who's recovered from a rare condition is offering her help and support to a Manxman struck down by the same one.

Alex Keenan, who's 37 and from Port St Mary, has been left paralysed from the neck down by Guillan-Barre syndrome.

He's currently on a ventilator in a Liverpool hospital, with his family unsure as to what the future holds for him at the moment.

Gill Ridgeway it's important to believe things can improve and to remain positive, taking her son as an example.
