Laxey woman denies assaulting police

Case adjourned until March

A Laxey woman has appeared in court on two counts of assaulting a police officer.

Thirty-one-year-old Lauren Amanda Kirk, of Pinfold Hill, pleaded not guilty to committing the offences in Derby Square, Douglas, on 9 November last year.

She also denies a further charge of provoking behaviour.

Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes has adjourned the case until 21 March.
