King(s) of the Mountain complete TT course fundraiser

The pair take a pit stop at the Victory Cafe

Anthony and Les smash fundraising goal in challenge with a twist

Two fundraisers took on a unique challenge over the weekend - to cycle the TT course on an old-school tandem bike all whilst dressed as Elvis Presley!

Anthony Long and Les Coates from Capital International Group were cycling to raise funds for the Huruma Orphanage in Tanzania, which looks after 35 children aged between 4 and 17.

The pair are to visit the orphanage in September with the firm's volunteering team.

Anthony and Les set off from the Creg-Ny-Baa at 10am on Saturday (13 July) and made it back at around 4pm.

They made several stops along the way, alongside colleagues in a karaoke bus who acted as a support vehicle.

All in, the effort raised over £4,000 for the cause.

Beth Espey spoke to Les during our Update programme this evening (15 July) to find out how they got on:

You can donate to their fundraiser via their Just Giving page, HERE.
