Isle of Man to be represented at summit on creative industries

Island to join talks under the 2025 theme: ‘A Creative Future’

The Isle of Man is set to take part in the latest British-Irish Council (BIC) Summit, where political leaders from across the UK, Ireland, and Crown Dependencies will convene to discuss areas of shared co-operation.

The BIC meeting today, Friday 4 December, hosted in Wales, brings together representatives from eight member administrations.

Talks are expected to centre on 'unlocking the potential of the creatives industries'.

The British-Irish Council was established under the 1998 Belfast/Good Friday Agreement to promote "good, practical, positive, and mutually beneficial relations".
