Manx Wildlife Trust CEO says lots of people don't realise its significance
The Island shouldn't be complacent with its Biosphere status, according to Manx Wildlife Trust's outgoing CEO.
It's an accolade awarded by UNESCO to 'unique and valuable landscapes' and there are 701 across the world.
The Isle of Man is the only whole-nation Biosphere, after receiving the status in 2016.
Leigh Morris says lots of people don't realise its significance:
Steam Packet praise passengers and crew following 'significantly rougher' than normal crossing
MiCard alternatives 'must be better than what we already have'
Last chance for central residents to respond to 20mph consultation
Spitfire passenger flights to launch from Ronaldsway
