Eight minute response time for emergency calls
The ambulance service is having to cope with a rising demand of 999 calls as it attempts to meet response time targets.
According to data, 62% of life-threatening emergency calls are attended to within eight minutes on the Isle of Man.
It comes after a report claiming many ambulance trusts in the UK were over-stretched due to an increase in call-outs.
Chief Ambulance Officer Russell Thornhill says the Island's service is faced with the same issues.
