An inquest into the deaths of two men who drowned at sea while out fishing is due to conclude at Douglas Courthouse this afternoon.
On its resumption yesterday it sat for five hours, hearing evidence of what happened to Stewart Curphey of Andreas and Harold Faragher of Bride, both of whom were 66.
Mr Curphey and Mr Faragher had launched their 16ft fibreglass boat from Blue Point on the north west coast of the Island on the lunchtime of Friday, July 26.
The alarm was raised by Mr Curphey's wife in the early hours of the Saturday morning, when the pair had not returned.
A major search was launched, involving the Coastguard, Lifeboats and the police.
The boat was found at 6.20am on Saturday, their bodies were recovered, separately, that afternoon.
Post mortems found both men had drowned, but it's not certain how they came to end up in the water.
The inquest will resume at 2.35pm, when it's due to hear from Ramsey Lifeboat's coxswain, a police officer and possibly a member of Peel Lifeboat's crew.
