
New chair optimistic about sector's future
Recent hotel developments show there is confidence in the future of the Island's tourism industry.
That's the view of the newly-appointed chair of Visit Isle of Man, one of four agencies set up within the Department for Enterprise.
The agencies, which bring together private sector expertise in each field, will act as advisory bodies to the government.
Former banker Ranald Caldwell took up the post last week.
