LVA boss says simply increasing the rate hasn't lifted everyone out of poverty so far
A senior figure in the Island's hospitality trade is calling on government to look at a wider range of people and problems when considering the minimum wage.
Plans to increase it to £12.25 from 1 April were announced in January but proposals to further increase the rate to £13.05 in October were put on hold following feedback from businesses.

The Department for Enterprise announced it will be reviewing the way the rate is calculated and will report back to Tynwald by July.
