
Chief exec says healthcare workers should feel safe at work
The chief executive of the Island's hospice says healthcare workers should be able to feel safe doing their jobs after one of its nurses was verbally attacked.
The nurse was travelling back to the facility after visiting a patient when a member of the public knocked on their car window and shouted accusations, blaming nurses for the spread of coronavirus on the Island.
Anne Mills believes it was an isolated incident, but says she intends to speak to the police.
She was appalled by the abuse her colleague suffered:
