Members presented with sufferers' witness statements
The health minister has apologised that a 'meaningful' service to help ME sufferers is still not in existence on the Isle of Man.
David Ashford's comments came towards the end of a lengthy Tynwald debate on the illness.
After hearing many of the members express their concerns, about a lack of support, Mr Ashford said he agreed something had to be done:
Tynwald members spent most of the morning in an, at times, emotional debate on the provision of ME services on the Island.
It's after a motion presented by Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Graham Cregeen on behalf of Kitty Gawne who suffers with the illness:
The court was told around 350 people on the Isle of Man suffer from the condition.
