Holywood man plans TT Grandstand finish in Dunlop's memory

Charity bike ride will see Adam Carroll cover 500 miles of road

A man from Northern Ireland is planning on cycling 500 miles to honour the memory of the late William Dunlop.

Roadracing fan and friend Adam Carroll from Holywood in County Down, is hoping to raise £5000 for the Dunlop family by riding six laps around each of the three international circuits.

In May, Mr Carroll will begin his journey at the Ulster Grand Prix and in the same day will ride around the North West 200 course.

This will be followed by six laps of the famous TT mountain course on the 8 May, which he hopes to complete over two days.
