
The Department of Infrastructure is reminding people to trim their bushes – or face the consequences.
The Highways Division has issued a reminder telling the public to cut back hedges to their property line.
It says overgrown hedges can be a nuisance to pedestrians, particularly those pushing prams, wheelchairs or who are visually impaired.
The Department says it’s had a number of complaints from the public, and if nothing is done it will start issuing enforcement notices.
