A Garff MHK wants to know when the recommendations of a report into the flooding which wreaked havoc in Laxey last year, will be implemented.

UK professional services firm ARUP warns that 10% of Manx homes are at risk of flooding, which could cost £900 million over the next 100 years.

It's advising government to prioritise and fund flood management, including sea defences and a new insurance scheme, to help protect against the impact of future extreme weather events.
