Teens offered Pfizer vaccine

The first set of Covid-19 vaccinations for the sixteen to seventeen year old age group gets underway today (Sat Aug21st).

They'll receive the Pfizer vaccine, a single dose of which has an estimated rate of eighty per cent protection against hospitalisation.

The jabs take place at the Chester Street hub in Douglas beginning this morning at 11 o'clock.
