Endoscopy changes 'worthwhile'
Health chiefs have defended the decision to move all endoscopy procedures to Noble’s Hospital.
Announced earlier this month and put into place within 10 days, it has angered some staff and residents, who helped fund the donation of key equipment for the facility at Ramsey Cottage Hospital.
Yet Minister Kate Beecroft insists the move to carry out procedures purely at Noble’s – as opposed to on both sites - will prove worthwhile and lead to efficiencies.
