34-year-old pleads guilty to two charges
An R-plate driver from Onchan will have to keep his plates on for an extra four months after failing to display them.
Thirty-four-year-old Sean Patrick Wiseman of Barrule Drive in Onchan pleaded guilty to two charges via a coroner's admission.
At a hearing at Douglas courthouse, High Bailiff Jayne Hughes was told police stopped him on Victoria Road on 7 October because computer checks showed his tax had run out more than a month earlier.
Checks also showed he should have been displaying R-plates after passing his test in April.
Mrs Hughes fined him £300 as well as ordering him pay £50 prosecution costs and keep his R-plates on for an extra four months.
