Douglas man appears in court over 'annoying phone calls'

Fifty-two-year-old allegedly breached bail conditions

A man accused of breaching his bail and making annoying phone calls has appeared in court.

Fifty-two-year-old Jonathan Richard Fletcher of Mona Street in Douglas appeared before magistrates at Douglas courthouse via a live video link from prison in Jurby.

He hasn’t yet entered pleas to the charges, which relate to an incident on 8 September.

His advocate made no application for bail, and Mr Fletcher was remanded in custody to appear in court again on 8 October.
