Ill seaman taken to hospital
A Douglas lifeboat crew was launched last night (8 Feb) to evacuate a seaman who needed hospital treatment.
The all weather vessel Sir William Hilary departed the capital at 11.13pm to contact the casualty's vessel off of Clay Head.
The ill seaman then was taken aboard the lifeboat, which returned to Douglas harbour, where an ambulance took the man to Noble's Hospital.
