DESC communication 'better than last year', says headteacher

Kewaigue head welcomes improved relationship during second lockdown

Communication between the education department and schools has been better during this lockdown.

That's from the headteacher at Kewaigue School, which has been closed during the circuit breaker.

Primary school pupils who've been in hub schools will return to their regular school from today, while no new online work is being set while teachers prepare for a return to the classroom on Monday.

Speaking to Manx Radio's Sian Cowper, Adrian Shorthouse says the relationship between the Department of Education, Sport and Culture, and the schools has improved since last year's closures:
